About Tweed

Tweed, a subsidiary of Canopy Growth Corporation and possibly the country’s largest licensed cannabis producer, is a trailblazer and model for cannabis culture in Canada. It was the first publicly listed licensed cannabis firm in North America, the first to legally export cannabis, the first to develop an online marketplace, the first to have an artist-in-residence, and the first to sell recreational goods throughout the country.

The firm has set up shop in an abandoned Hershey’s chocolate factory in Smiths Falls, Ontario, and has just finished the Tweed Visitor Centre, an immersive, educational experience for the public to learn about its operation and mission, also its very own chocolate factory is under process and will soon be launched. The Tweed Collective has committed to providing $20 million in financing for community projects across the country over the next four years, with social impact as one of its core pillars.
